First they gave him first septeim no hope and after a while other Medicin which is metronidazole. Even we haven't seen a change and finally we gave him trian and gentamicin for three days. And this time his poop started to hill and getting yellowish . Doc saied he have lactos intolerance and he give him lactos free formula. And after a while again his poop started to get green mucusy . Other symptoms (don't know if this is associated with this or not)

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your son, I think the greenish diarrhea is not the matter of worry because this type of diarrhea is mostly self limiting, the cause of this diarrhea is either viral infection or hyper activation of enzyme secretion, some how the child being treated with the multidrug therapy and that must have flair up the condition, I actually treating such patients with no medicine just advising to keep the good hydration, but here I guess the intestinal flora must have been damaged due to antibiotic and now "lyophilized lactobacillus" sachets one sachets three times in day, is worth trying, this is nothing to worry every thing will be alright , hope this information helps you have nice day.
