Need Remedy For Pain And Itchiness In The Ovary Incision Area.

I had my right ovary removed along with a hernia repair 11 days ago. I have have had problems with the ovary incision. I went in after 8 days and I had a small blood clot that was not letting the incision close, my OB worked on it and got it out. She than cleaned it and redressed it. I came in and saw her again following day because it was bleeding so this time she packed it and bandaged it.The plastic bandage cover filled up with about 4cc of blood that night, I went to er they did ultra sound and said it is fine and redressed it. It keeps filling up the plastic bandage and gauze with blood, it also is very painful and itchy. The area where the hernia was done at the same time has no problems, it is just red and very itchy also. YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

I think good topical ointment will be required for this condition like fusiderm , apply it for 14 days , also a antibiotics course will be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
