Need Treatment For Gastric Problem With Weakness In The Legs

My husband has had reoccuring issues with excessive gas and belching. Most of the time he also reports left and or right arm pain and some chest discomfort. Pain also occurs in his legs and he feels weak and unable to concentrate. These symptoms have persisted for the last several years. Last year his Hida scan was positive and he had a lap chole. He has also had several cardiac work-ups that include a stress test, cath and enzymes. He has been scoped from both ends, with the EGD showing some gastritis. He regularly takes Nexium. We would love to have some ideas as to what is causing his problems. Any thoughts?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your husband having bloating, excessive gas and belching for years and also have pains in arms, legs and inability to concentrate.
All the cardiac and GI investigations are normal.
When all the investigations are normal, the most probable cause is obviously IBS.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Get an opinion of a Gastroenterologist and get started treatment on the basis of IBS.
Stop all the foods and beverages That increase your problems.
