Night Sweats, Losing Weight, Frequent Urination. What Could Be This?
My husband a question answered about sweats after knee replacement and the doctor didn't even answer the man's question. Told him to use ice packs. It was Dr. Srivastva. I am asking the same question, why is my husband experiencing night sweats that cause him to get up and change clothes because he is drenched (also using towels on bed and they are soaked. He has lost about 12 pounds. He also is having to urinate every 2-3 hours at night also. He is not taken pain meds for 2 weeks so we figure it wasn't the medicine causing this.
Losing this much weight , getting night sweats are non specific symptoms . They can be found in many diseases like Diabetes , tuberculosis , malignancies , lymphomas. Based only on symptoms nothing can be said.
I advise you to go to a good physician , get a complete health check up with routine blood tests and other special tests if necessary as advised to you by your doctor.
These symptoms need prompt attention .
If you have any further queries feel free to ask.
Wish you good health.
Take care.
