Normal To Have Tingling Hand After Garden Work?

Hi Dr,
My husband has tingling in his hand that is travelling up his arm - he thinks he may have been bitten by a spider as he was gardening.. is this normal? What should I look out for, in case it gets more serious?

No he didn't see the spider

Thank you

Hi
May I know the duration of tingling? How is his grip strength? Does he have night pain?is he able to do fine work?based on that the possible diagnosis could be carpal tunnel syndrome/brachialgia.
Take care and do come back with the reply to confirm and to plan treatment.
