Dr... i am a girl aging 23 and got periods last month's 26 th. but this time im not geting it yet.im feer. i had sex with my boyfriend this month's 18 th. but it is safe i think. im a university student and having a stress due to the fear of late periods. pls help me...

Hi,
If you have always been regular with your cycles, and if you have a cycle span of 28-30 days, you had intercourse during the safe period and as such, need not near conception. The reason for the delay in the period could be stress; hormonal status is a very delicate balance and can be affected by very trivial causes. Yet, please get a home pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample of urine to confirm/exclude pregnancy. Please see a specialist for further help. Hope you find this information useful.
