Your symptoms seems to be due to increased acidity in your stomach and its reflux towards esophagus.
In addition to the medicines, you should follow some precautions like :-
1. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2. Avoid cigarette/alcohol.
3. Donot miss a meal.
4. Avoid mental/emotional stress.
5. Donot self medicate especially with pain killers and steroids.
You can take antacids like Ranitidine 150 mg twice a day before meals along with Domperidone 10 mg for relief of your symptoms. Taking antacid in gel form is also beneficial as it forms a protective coating over the damaged mucosa of the stomach.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
