Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a small lump on my leg near my shin. It I d hard and I can move it. It I d only noticeable to the touch when my leg is bent but when I stick my leg out it disappears. When I bring my leg back to my body to it comes back after a few seconds.. Any idea?
As per your history it looks swelling of soft tissue which can be lipoma or sebaceous cyst. I will advise to consult surgeon for clinical examination and if required proper investigation. I will advise you to do MRI and Ultrasound of the swelling. Benign swelling giving rise to pain can be excised.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
