Noticed Blood In Saliva & Extreme Pain With Blurriness After An External Injury

I got elbowed in the eye going for a header in soccer, his elbow fell with the force of his body into my eye. My vision in that eye went black for a second and then I was seeing double for a minute or two following this. The soccer game ended an hour ago and when I spit it is about 50/50 blood and saliva. Any suggestions?

Hello
It seems from the history that you got injury to the eye by elbow following which you had sudden blackout of vision and you had blood in saliva.
This indicates injury to the nose and bleeding into the mouth resulting in blood in saliva. The eye condition is because of injury and requires evaluation as the injury appears to be significant.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
