Noticed Soreness In Breast And Tiredness After Skipping A Contraceptive Pill

I've been on the same birth control about 6 months. Missed one pill and 3 days later in the middle of the pack I got a period that lasted for 7 days (normal is 4). However, I then missed my period at the end of the pack. My breasts have been sore and I've been a little tired so I took pregnancy test with negative results. Just not sure what is going on or at what point there is cause for concern.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common and can happen because of hormonal changes.

As of now, you can take drugs like Mefenamic Acid for pain relief.

Nothing much to worry and your symptoms will settle in a couple of days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
