Noticing Discomfort Due To Platinum Plates On Hips. Suggest Medication
Dear Doctor,
I live in Kabul Afghanistan.
My wife in car accident broke her hip and she had an operation in India last year, she got like Platinum plates. She doesn’t have any problem but only she is feeling like a weight in one side. Now some doctor giving opinion to remove them. If you want, I can send the early X-ray.

Implant removal is not always necessary.If you are experiencing discomfort it can be removed, but only after been consulted by an experienced orthopedic surgeon that your fracture is properly consolidated.Hope this may help you.
