Numbness In Buttocks And Bottom Of Feet. Have Proctitis From Herpes. Taking Acyclovir. Worried

I am having numbness in my buttocks and bottoms of feet. I was diagnosed with proctitis from herpes. Originally they just gave me antibiotics thinking that it was bacterial. Then 2 days ago I begin taking acyclovir 800 mg 5 times daily. It still hurts my penis inside when I urinate and my buttocks and feet continue to be numb. I am worried.
