Numbness In Right Thigh, Shooting Pains. What Should I Do?

After a 5 mile walk on holiday I had a numbness in my right thigh it got to the point were I had shooting pains so I had to stop for approx. 30 mins it eased of but is becoming more frequent, just back from weekend break same problem numbness and sharp pains,

Hi,
If you have no habit of regular walking exercise and having sudden walking of 5 miles naturally will give rise to fatigue and spasm of leg muscles giving rise to this problem.
Do regular physical exercise like walking, running, swimming.
Ok and take care.
