Obese Diagnosed With GERD. Taking Prilosec. Suffer From Anxiety Attacks. Solution?
I am 42 years old and do not smoke or drink. I weigh 219 lbs. I was diagnosed with GERD in February 2013 and is currently taking Prilosec OTC in the morning. I also suffer from anxiety attacks. I am on .25 mg of Xanax but on as needed basis. I have not taken the Xanax since I have been on Prilosec OTC because I am afraid that they will interact will one another but I am experiencing some anxiety but I don't know ehat to do.

Hello.Both treatments("Pilosec"and"Xanax")are neccessary to treat your pathologies(gerd and anxiety attacs).A drug dont interact with another drug,you can take both quietly.
In addition, the dose of Xanax you take-0,25 mgr-is low(There are even commercial presentations 2 mgr),prevent anxiety attacks and can not be stopped abruptly.I wish you good health.
