Ever since my 6 year xanax addiction ended in February, my skin has gone from perfectly smooth and normal, to extremely oily with tons of all kinds of acne. (I just made the connection a few days ago when I googled xanax and acne...many others mentioned their skin being under control with help from benzodiazepines). I do know my problem is all stress induced. I can't have and don't want any more prescription drugs to calm it down, but would love to know of any natural solutions to stop these painful, cystic, whitehead, blackheads that I'd gone without for so long. If there are natural things I could ingest that would be as effective as the xanax was, I'd really appreciate a reply. I'm 40 and can't afford to wasted any more money on acne cleansers that don't work...(another reason I know it's stress induced). The skin on the rest of my body is also no longer smooth, as it was completely, during the addiction. Thank you.
