Old Aged, Having Edema, Extreme Fatigue And Muscle/ Joint Pain, With Severe Pain In Shoulders, Arms And Hands. What To Do?
Hello Doctor . My dad has been ill for several weeks. His symptoms have been generalized edema , extreme fatigue and muscle/ joint pain, with severe pain in his shoulders arms and hands. A trip to his regular doctor and some tests revealed no answers. Although a trip to the ER two weeks ago revealed an irregular heart beat , Atrial Fibrillation . He was put on a blood thinner, Xeralto. He felt better after starting the blood thinner for only a week. He has a history of CAD, MI with PCI of RCA two years ago. A trip to his cardiologist was also unproductive. She stated that she didn t think it was his heart, that she has old ladies that live in this irregular rhythm. She has him doing an Nuclear Stress Test and Echocardiogram.
Hi, your dad had edema fatigue, pains. He is a patient of CAD,MI,PCI, OF RCA,2 years ago. better with the blood thinner, and xeralto. Of course all these are due to the cardiac failure, and needs compensation. it is almost done, and needs continuous follow ups. Don't worry worry, he will be fine with the continuous usage of drugs, and follow up. Thank you.
