On Depakote ER. Has Cystic Acne On Chest And Back. Will Doxycycline Cause Any Stomach Issues?

Hi my 19 year son has been on Depakote ER for a year (previously Depakene from 13-17.5) His seizures have been under control for almost 5 years. He has bad cystic acne on chest and back. Went to dermatologist today, worried that Doxycycline may bring on stomach issues especially with the taking the Depakote. Currently his stomach is doing okay. What do you think?

Dont worry, i in such situation, prefer to give omeprazole to counteract the gastric irritation of the drugs. Thank you.
