Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

What they have told you on abdominal ultrasound is that the uterus endometrium is thick and this is called as decidual reaction. This happens when the uterus us getting prepared for the implantation to occur or the implantation has occurred and the fetus is very small to be seen on ultrasound scan.

I suggest you do a home pregnancy test if it is 15 days after probable sexual intercourse. A home pregnancy test will confirm a pregnancy. A ultrasound scan confirms pregnancy only after 6 to 7 weeks.

Some times home pregnancy test can come negative if done very early in pregnancy. The very light periods might b e due to implantation bleeding. Please wait for a week more for your periods and then do a home pregnancy test.

Hope this helps
