On And Off Diarrhea After Drinking Creek Water. Temporary Help From Antidiarrhea Medicines. Blood Test Showed Possible Viral Infection. Ecoli Infection?

Age 21, male, good health until 4 weeks ago. Drank some creek water. Had diarrhea, then fever. Went to ER and they said dehydration. Gave me IVs and sent home with antidiarrhea meds. OK for few days, then more diarrhea. Recently the diarrhea has been like yellow foamy consistency. Feel tired a lot. Diarrhea comes and goes. ER did stool test and said they would call with results but never heard from them. They also did blood test and said it looked like I had some infection and they thought it might be a virus. Now I am wondering about ecoli or some parasite. Not sure what to do at this point.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some gastro-intestinal infectiongiving, either bacterial or amebic giving you this trouble.
Go for Ofloxaciline, tinidazole combination medicine for 3-5 days.
Take light diet for few days.
Take plenty of water and electrolytes.
Ok and take care.
