Hi sir, this is mrs.kunder my husband is tv patient since march 2013 his treatment is going on he had diabetes also since last 15 dsys he is hvng fever Dr.gv medicin for maleria to try though it has not detectd in blood report.after he took medicine for malaria he is stl feeling feverish fever comes for only sometime and then go. Sir, can u please suggest me on wht reason fever comes and go or can u please sugest me which specialist I should consult.
Diabetes tends to reduce immunity ,thus the Anti-Tubercular Therapy(ATT)may not be as effective as it is in a younger and nondiabetic patient and may need more time.Ruling out urinary tract infection and other systemic infections, or Typhoid fever may be required.Other investigations as suggested by a physical examination by his doctor will help pinpoint the cause.A review of ATT may be required.
