Swelling around the eyes are not usual side effect of Mefanamic acid. But your child may be allergic to Mefanamic acid and this may cause the swelling. As she have the fever with mild swelling in eyes, it may be due to any eye infection, nasal infection or it may be a initial stage of periorbital cellulitis.
