On Cephalex For A Bug Bite Gone Wrong. On Dienogest For Endometriosis. Can These Medicines Be Taken Together?
I am currently taking 2mg dienogest for treating endometriosis & have been given a prescription for 500mg cephalex for a bug bite gone wrong. My pharmacist did not have any information regarding drug interaction &I could not find anything online. I just want to be sure it is safe to take these medications together. \any ideas?
Hi dear Welcome to the Board Of health care magic. Cephalexin is a safe antibiotic with minimum of side effects and interaction with other drugs. How ever no drug is free of some or the other side effects. So In my opinion you can go with cephalex side by side some other drug like you mentioned. Provided you yourself are not allergic to cephalexin. Hope Your query is answered Thanks
