hello,I have been on the methadone clinic for 5yrs.now I was a heroin user for 8yrs.ok im so tired of going to the clinic,i don't belong there,the people there are still using and in the 5yrs. I have never given them a dirty urine,i haven't used anything but methadone,my question is there private doctors that may prescribe me it so I don't have to keep going there,i started on 110MLG. im down to 65MLG. I have been detoxing slowly but I want to just see a regular doctor..

I hope you are doing good. You are doing a great job as you are trying to quite and you are almost near. You can visit the regular doctor if he deals with such cases and have experience along with encouraging you and can give you the time you need.
Mostly regular doctors don't deal with such cases. You can get contact of the doctors from there and can visit them in there private time as they know from the start about your cases and treatment. Suddenly stopping and starting all over with a new doctor wont be a good idea.
