One Week Ago, I Fell And Non Displaced Fractured Ribs

One week ago, I fell and non displaced fractured ribs 6 and 7 on my left side. Although this is the worst pain imaginable, yesterday I developed some alarming new symptoms and returned to the ER today. I'm experiencing a popping/clicking like sensation when I move my left arm. It also feels like I'm being stabbed with a knife in that general area every time I move. The ER doc said there have been no changes on the xray from last week, but I feel worse and I'm scared. Thoughts?
