Hi,

Thank you for your query.

As your son is one year old and has started spitting/vomiting the milk lately I believe it is not milk allergy. Most probably he does not want to have milk and may be vomiting it out. Vomited milk does smell bad and is curdled. I suggest that you stop giving him top milk for a few days and observe. You can reintroduce it later in small amounts.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son all the best.

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Your child seems to have a gastroesophageal reflux.

Give small feeds at frequent intervals.

And after feeding hold the child in upright position for 10 to 15 minutes.

Try to give more solid infant feeds and you can add rice cereal in milk, but give him small quantity feeds.

If the spitting still continues, you can use medication like domperidone or metoclopramide after consulting your Pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
