Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

PCOS is usually due to hormonal imbalances in young women. You are taking the right treatment. The features of PCOS are weight gain, appearance of facial hair, scanty or absent periods, temporary inability to conceive and on ultrasound scan there is enlarged ovaries.

It is a treatable condition and you can continue taking treatment and follow up regularly with your gynecologist.

Hope this helps
