PCOS, Periods Irregular. Prescribed Glycomet 1000mg Twice, Taking 500mg Once. Not Getting Periods. Suggestions?

hi i am having pcos problem and i also my period is irregular..my doctor is advised to take glycomet 1000mg daily twice.but i am having only daily 500mg .for first two months i get period in 28 days....but for third month i did get any and also i am not concevied....please help me? and also guide me how to take tablets and how does its work in the body?

PCOS is a condition of basic hormonal imbalance, as the ovaries get studded with multiple cyst like follicles.
There is irregular ovulation and unpredictable cycles.
Weight loss is key as even 5 % weight loss will correct menstrual irregularity.
Metformin will help symptoms.
Consult an infertility specialist and go for follicular monitoring to check if you are ovulating.
If not, ovulation inducing agents like Clomiphene citrate maybe required.
