PET Scan Showed Enlarged Node In Spleen, Neck And Back Of Tongue. Needle Biopsy Came Back As Mass. Due For Tongue Biopsy. Serious?

My husband had a PET scan only to find an enlarged node on his spleen, three on his neck and a growth on the back of his tongue. We were aware of the growth on the back of his neck for which he had a
needle biopsy last week. It came back as "a mass." That was it for a diagnosis. He is having biopsy for the growth on the back of his tongue next week.

We are concerned to have learned today about the three additional nodes on his neck and spleen.
