Pain And Numbness In The Hip And Leg. History Of Sciatica. Difficulty In Walking And Standing. Any Advice?

My right hip hurts and my right leg goes numb but a streak of fire goes down to my toes. I've had sciatica before but this feels a bit different since it is more in my hip. Sometimes I have a hard time walking especially standing after sitting. If it matters I have been getting major cramps in my right foot that make my toes curl. No discoloration but my hands and feet are usually cold.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, You are having typical symptoms of lumbar disc disease with radiculopathy. But pain in the hip is unusual with disc pathology. So better to get a Xray of Hip joint or MRI scan of hip to rule out hip joint problem. Hope this clears your issues. bye
