I just had an ultrasound because i was having pain and pressure in my stomach. Findings: the uterus measures 11.2x6.3x7.1cm. it is anteverted. the myometrium is heterogeneous. the endometrium measures 0.6cm. My primary doctor told me that I have multiple fibroid tumores on the right side and a 2 cm cyst on my left ovary. But that i should talk to my gyn. Not sure what all this means

Hi,
Heterogeneous myometrium implies areas of echo-density, meaning accumulation of cells in certain parts of the myometrium. It is most often seen in the presence of fibroids. The size of the uterus is slightly more,i.e., the uterus is enlarged. the position of the uterus is anteverted and this is the common one. your pain and pressure are perhaps due to the enlarged and fibroid uterus. I suggest that you see a gynecologist immediately as your condition may need surgical correction. Take care.
