Pain Around Naval With Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Bloating. History Of Small Bowel Resection Due To Intesucception. Advice

I had a small bowel resection 2 years ago due to intesucception (sp). For the last month I have had pain near, around, and behind my naval with vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, full feeling. I cannot get into see my GI doctor for 3 more weeks. I cannot find any foods that makes things worse. It is much worse when I stand up. Feels best when I am laying in fetal position with my knees as close to my chest as possible. I have not taken any antacids, or any thing else for fear of complicating my condition. Please advise.

Hi, it may be the due to adhesions of the operation, or may be due to worms in the intestines, So i advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have stools examination for cysts and ova, and M.R.I. of abdomen. Thank you.
