Pain Around Umbilicus, Nausea. Antacids Do Not Work. What Is The Cure ?
Hi my name is Dawn....about two days ago i started feeling quite nauseated and had emesis once. Since then my pain has gotten worse. it hurts around my umbilicus and is very tender. It is really bad if I try to eat. no fever yet though. Antacids do not work.. tried everything.

Pain around the umbilicus is suggestive of appendicitis, I strongly advice you to meet a general surgeon immediately for an examination and emergency ultra sound abdomen since it is getting worse. I strongly advice you not to ignore this symptom any further. Antacids are of no help as pain around the umbilicus does not indicate gastritis
