Pain During Periods After Miscarriage. Is It Advisable To Take Fertomid?
hi im 30 yrs old,i had a miscarriage in september and it was my first pregnancy.I had terrible pains during my first and srecond periods after the miscarriage,i went to my gynae for a check up,he did a sonar and said the uterus has healed nicely, what could be causing the pains and also is it advisable to take fertomid so early after my miscarriage,my husband and I desparately want a baby.
Hi, If the post-abortal period was uneventful, the possible reason for the pain could be hormonal. If no ovarian causes are found and since the uterus is apparently normal, you may take anti-spasmodics for relief. Induction of ovulation may not be necessary and you should wait for 6 months to see if another pregnancy naturally happens; else, you can go for assisted reproduction. Tubal patency also may be checked as is the cause for the abortion. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
