Pain In Arms, Nausea, Burping Sensation. Indigestion Or Heartburn?
Hi, I think I have heartburn but not sure-I am a 43y/o female, no history of heart problems, healthy cholesterol level, non smoker, I exercise and eat healthy. I have pain where my arms attach to my body, feel slightly nauseous, feel like I need to burp-my breathing is fine. Maybe just indigestion?-had a spicy-somewhat rich supper.
Noted your history about pain in arms, nausea, burping after rich diet. Since you do regular exercises it is possible that you are doing something that is causing strain on the muscles that are affected thus causing the pain in arms where they are near body. Rich diet can cause gastritis and hence nausea and need to burp up. Indigestion is a vague term for such occurrences hence you have to specifically note for the further symptoms. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Take a PPI like Omeprazole. Domperidone for nausea and antacid if there is burning sensation in upper abdomen or center of chest. See the results. Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, investigations of stool and blood if required and an additional treatment as the condition may suggest. Avoid rich, oily and spicy foods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
