Pain In Back And Stomach. X-ray Suggests Scoliosis. Any Suggestions?
I don't know why I held a burp inside my stomach and my back around the thoracic area felt like I either snapped or ripped a muscle/ ligament. I was in so much pain that I fell to the ground and tears ran down my eyes. I got two xrays one by a chiropractor and a doctor at Kaiser Permanente. The chiro said I had the beginning of scoliosis around the area where I felt the pain and I also had a disc T9 that was decreased which was causing the scoliosis around my T6 and T7. After getting the second xray by my doctor he said I had a normal xray with no issues. I am going in to have an MRI. I have been in a lot of pain for the past 5 months and tired of it? Any other suggestions?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The sudden pain that you had is likely to be due to a muscle spasm or a mild tear. The scoliosis can aggravate such pains due to an improper posture. Taking a muscle relaxant will help you. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
