Pain In Breathing. Diagonised For Pleurisy. Dependent On Coumadin. Suggestion?

I have been dependent on "Coumadin" for nearly 30 years now and I feel that a lot has not been told me about my clotting condition. Now, I am starting to experience pain in my lung when breathing. I went to the emergency room last evening and was told face to face that everything was okay with me. Yet, within my discharge instructions I find that I was diagnoised with "pleursity"? What am I beginning to possibly be facing in the near future?

Hello,

Pleurisy is inflammation of the outer covering of the lung the pleura.

This causes pain during breathing due to two layers of the pleura rubbing against each other.

It may be due to trauma or infection.

Analgesic may help in relief of pain.

For further management consult a Pulmonologist.
