Pain In Groin And Hip As A Horse Leaped, Instant Bruising On Hip

Hi,
Whilst breaking a horse it leaped 4 feet in the air and i flew off in the air and landed hard on my hip/upper thigh. An instant shock went straight through my hip to my groin. There was instant bruising on my hip but I could still walk. Sleep was a nightmare I couldn't move at all due to the pain in my groin and hip. The next day I can't walk without shocks sent between my hip and groin. What can you suggest?

Hi,

I'd strongly suggest to:

- go to an orthopedist to evaluate your situation as soon as possible,

- do X-ray of the region;

- apply cold compresses to the affected area

- immobilization is needed

- take pain-killers orally and apply locally
