HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The abnormal sensation that she is experiencing may be related to neuralgia which is nerve pain.

Nerve pain can result in abnormal sensations in the part of the body effected.

She may want to see a neurologist who may be able to do nerve condition tests.

There are different medications that can be used for neuralgia that should relieve her discomfort.

I hope this helps
