Pain In Inner Right Thigh Above Knee, Feeling Hard. Had Viral Fever. What Investigation Should Be Done?

I am 46 yrs, Male & weigh about 62 kilos. I had viral fever about a month back and since then I have a persistent ache in the inner right thigh just above the knee, and the region appears slightly hard compared to my left knee. I haven't taken any pain killers. What kind of investigations would I need to diagnose the problem? My mail ID is YYYY@YYYY .

Thanks and regards

it appears you have localized muscle soreness irrespective of viral fever. If there is no swelling or redness, this may be nothing serious.Apply hot packs and relaxyl gel to the affected area. Since you complain of pain also ,, get an x ray thigh AP And Lateral views as sometimes there may be some cause underneath in the bone giving hardness to overlying muscle.
