Pain In Leg, Neck, Trouble With Balance, Limited Mobility Of Arms, Jolt Like Pain In Arms. Have Arthritis, Knee Replacement Done. Advised Seeing Neurologist Or Orthopedician?

If a person is having some pain down his leg, in buttock area at times and having trouble with balance and stumbling has fallen a few times. Also has some pain in neck area and has limited mobility of arms above head, but also gets pain down arms as in jolts that are just like a shock. This person also has arthritis and has had one knee replaced once the other knee replaced twice. He also was a parachutted out of planes in the army. Who do you see a neurologist or an orthopedic specialist?

Hello,

Considering the whole clinical picture of this patient he has more orthopedic problem and he need to be treated by an orthopedician.

If the orthopedic problem gives rise to any neurological complication like entrapment neuropathy then he may be referred to a neurologist by the orthopedician for the management of that conditions.
