Pain In Lower Left Pelvic Area. Ultrasound Shows Heterogeneous Endometrium. Should I Worry ?

I went to the er for pain in my lower left pelvic area. They did an internal and external ultrasound. My menstrual cycle was almost over but the doc said I had heterogeneous endometrium. My sister suffers from endometrial fibroids. The doc said it didnt present like cancer. Should I be worried?

there are no chances of cancer as there are hormonal disturbances
this can be local pelvic organ problem
it can be chronic infection or inflamation or benign
after the diagnosis it can be treated accordingly in my view
