Pain In Rib Cage, Soreness In Small Spot

a sharp stabbing burning severe pain starting on my right ribcage area then radiationg to my upper back under my right shoulder blade. it comes and goes, seems to get worse at night, gets worse if i turn to pick something up off my nightstand or cauge or sneeze or yahn. i feel a sore spot on a right rib as if i injured it but i havent. its a small pea size sore spot, this paid started about 3 weeks ago. nothing to relieve it has helped. some parts of the day i have no pain then it comes back for no reason.

The pain you are having near your rib cage could be related to a muscular spasm. If there is no history of injury or a visible bruise over the area then taking a muscle relaxant orally will be helpful in relieving the symptoms.
