Pain In Right Lumbar, Pain While Bending, Pinched Nerve

I had an intense pain occurence the other night when trying to lay down in bed. The pain was located in the right lumbar area and I found myself unable to move. I was in that position for 2 hours. I have since experience intense pain (to the poin of screaming) when bending. It is thought that I may have a pinched nerve. The Spine Institue wants me to have a MRI . In your opinion what should I be doing?

hi,
as per ur symptoms, it doesn`t look renal colicky pain, because that will not disturb u from getting up from bed, instead it will give u radiating pain.

hence, as suggested by ur Dr. it`s good to have an MRI spine, to R/O anything abnormal..
