Pain In Side, Hurts To Breathe Deeply, Difficulty Sleeping, Nausea, Gas, Fever

For about 3 days I have had bad pains on my right side. It hurts when I breathe deeply, yawn or sneeze and also it is worse after meals which cause cramps. I cannot sleep properly as it pains me to move in bed. I also get some nausea and I have been having a lot of gas, some very loose movement and then some feelings of needing to go but cannot. This happened about 6 weeks ago as well but cleared up in a couple of days. Lat night I also suffered from severe sweating and assume I was a lit feverish

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Upper right side of the abdomen can be caused by gallstones or pancreas disease. Especially if the pain appears after a meal (usually fat meal), nausea and vomiting appears. Fever can indicate an inflammation of gallbladder.
Cramps and bowel movements problem can also indicate bowels obstruction. It is more possible if you have had any constipation before, diarrhea, weight lost, blood in stool.
Sometimes peptic ulcer can also give such symptoms.

I suggest you to visit your doctor and have some tests done. Abdominal ultrasound, blood work, liver tests (AST,ALT,GGTP), bilirubin, amylase, urine amylase, urine analysis and abdominal X-ray done. If this tests will be negative, gastroscopy and colonoscopy should be considered.

In a meanwhile you should avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, coffee.
Hot bath, Metamizole, Buscolyzine can ease the pain.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
