Pain In The Ankle Like A Pinched Nerve. Cause?

I have a pain that began in my ankle a week ago. The pain is sharp like a pinched nerve. No swelling , not discolored, and no injury to it. It only hurts with weight on it. Now a week later the pain has not gotten any better and is starting to work it s way up ny calf . Any idea what this could be? I m getting very concerned.
