Hi

A miniscus tear will not go away on its own. If it interferes in your daily activities then you may get investigated and even get the surgery done. Till then avoid activities that bring on the pain. Take appropriate pain-killers like ibuprofen. Do not kick. Biking does strengthen the muscles around the knee.
