Pain In The Leg After Being Hit. Fracture?

I got hit by a hockey puck on the inside of my leg about 4inches above the ankle a week ago and the ankle is starting to hurt more and is still swelled. However, it does not hurt to walk. Is it possible to be a chipped bone? Sorry it s not the ankle that hurts it s the spot on the inside of my leg on the side of my tibia .

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
It might be soft tissue injury , ligament injury or fracture.
Without X-ray, it is difficult to differentiate a fracture from others. I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get the X-ray of the area affected under his/her guidance.
In the interim, take anti-inflammatory drug like motrin to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid putting weight and rest well.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful
