Pain In The Neck While Breathing Deeply. Pain Radiating To The Ear. Could It Be Due To The Excessive Smoking?
Hello, I'm a22 year old female. I smoke on average 5-7 cigarettes a day for 3 years now. Lately(past week or so) I've noticed that I get a pain in the back of the left side of my neck when I inhale deeply. Also, not my left ear but the area behind/below it is where the pain slightly radiates to. No ear pain, really. My father has a history of ear infections. Only hurts when I inhale. I dont quite have the money for a doctor apt, so meanwhile, does this sound like anything to worry about or that needs immediate attention? Thank you.
Smoking is definitely very bad for the body. Cigarette contains nicotine and tar which are the substances which causes cancer in areas such as throat and lungs.
Your pain along the left side of the neck which sometimes radiates towards left year may possibly be an infection of the throat, or simple muscle pain. At any case proper investigation of the case is required. Please consult your GP.
Wish you easy recovery.
