Pain In The Wrist And Knuckles Due To An Injury. Should I Be Worried?

Hi, I was wearing a wrist watch, and I accidentally stabbed my hand by bending it towards the watch. The little knob used to change the time pierced into my skin, and it really hurt. A while later, the pain expanded from nearby my wrist all the way up to my knuckles. When I bend my fingers then spread them apart, that area between my ring and middle finger really hurts. What is this? Should I be worried?
