Pain In Upper Back/shoulder. Nodule Found In Right Middle Lung. Is The Cause Of Concern?

im a 37 year old female. i have been having pain in my right upper arm, shoulder, & back (scapular) area for over 3 months. the pain is a constant, deep, burning/stinging pain (nerve pain?). no previous injury. i have had numerous xrays. a 8 x 5mm nodule? was found on right midlung. could this possibly be causing the pain. im concerned. i have not felt well lately. i get dizzy and light headed often

Thanks for writing to HCM

It is unlikely that 8 mm nodule in right mid lung give rise to pain in scapular region.
I think it may be due to spondylotic changes in cervical spine.
You need proper clinical examination and X-ray cervical spine AP/Lateral view.
If cervical spondylosis is the cause then physiotherapy and pain killers can be given.
You need follow up X-ray for single pulmonary nodule in right mid lung. There are various causes of single pulmonary nodule.
